SilverSeeker - Hunt For The Silver!

Welcome Seekers!

We hope you're all ready for a hunt across Des Moines! We have 20 ounces of pure silver up for grabs this time! That's over $350 worth of silver coins and bars! All you'll need to do is find out where it's all hidden.

Starting on Friday the 18th we will be releasing a CLUE and a CODE per day for four days. Each CLUE will lead you to a location where two silver coins will be hidden. The coins will be hidden separately so there are two chances each day to find some treasure. Also at the location will be a way to decipher the CODES for that day. After the four days, assuming you have deciphered each days CODE, you will have what you need to locate the grand prize of 12 ounces of silver.

We've created this page to help you along the way. The links on the left will show you the clues for each day. It will not save your progress so be sure you copy your work down before closing the page.

The Beginning

It's out there...the silver is cleverly hidden
a total of twenty for seekers to claim
but beware of the rules and what is forbidden
the point of the hunt is not to maim

please do not stray from public land
no digging, no climbing, and keep your cool
do nothing illegal or you will be banned
and absolutely no searching at any school

a score of numbers are used in our scheme
in groups of five you'll need to refine
the sets are encoded according to theme
each one is up to you to divine

four locations will show you the process
to decrypt the digits and reveal what's designed
four locations also hold silver
but only for the first and second to find

once a score you obtain and order just right
you must break them to bits and align
the way will be clear and you can take flight
find the treasure and shout "The silver is mine!"
